X-Training Challenge 2018

On Friday 25th May we held our inaugural X-Training challenge here at Body Basics.

This involved a 12 discipline course anyone can try in their Gym:

Treadmill 500M @ 8% Incline 500M @ 6% Incline

It was the first time we had held the event and invited Evolve Gym over from Northallerton to compete against us. They brought some excellent athletes who completed the course in fantastic times. The 4 competitors from Body Basics all improved their personal best times. We set the competitors off at 6 minute intervals with their own timing judge, who all helped out brilliantly, and did a fantastic job.

With some nervous tension and competitive spirit in the Gym it was a memorable night with Evolve coming out on top. But hopefully the event can grow and add futher Gyms in the future.
